Walking in Frankfurt

With only a couple of days left until the World Cup, we checked out the riverside. The Main Arena as they call it consists of a huge screen in the middle of the river and a tribune holding tousands of people. The Sachsenhausen side mainly constsist of a VIP tent and some spare space for mortal people.

a rainy day in Frankfurt

Visited all three galleries of the Museum der Weltkulturen - for free!!!! They have this amazing concept of welcoming people from all around the world from partner-cities. And Budapest happens to be one of these cities. So no charge. Great exhibitions, a quick visit to Starbucks and a longer visit to Wagners (Hmmmm - Schweinshaxe!!!)

another wet cat on the net ...

This collection reminds me that the weirdest thing I have seen on the internet since its existence is not related to porn but someting I would never do - wash a cat. For the ones against animal torture (I count myself also into this group) - it is worth checking out the other sets, it seems that Milk has a nice life after all...

Impressive link of the day

I am happy to report that efforts have quadrupled to bring the remaining days of my Indian trip to life on the blog. In the coming days you should see new pages miraculously appearing further down in chronological order. In the meantime read this Wikipedia entry that will change your view on horse breeding forever. Focus on the number 55,000 and the words Hyperkalemic Periodic Paralysis.

Rodrigos Birthday

Rodrigo invited for a spontaneous birthday party to his castle on Schloss-Strasse. This time the police did not show up as expected - a great party with some Italian karaoke in between... See you all next Saturday at the bikini car wash!

I REALIZE OF THE SHORT NOTICE, THOUGH I WILL NOT FORGIVE YOU IF YOU MISS IT!
(Thank you Leire for the photos!!!)

Orientierbar Hofheim

Peter Huber invited 300 Ninjas and some party people to the Orientierbar. Atlas got rid of the the ninjas and the pictures so I am afraid you can only enjoy the pics of some happy party people. Great idea, Mr. Huber!
Check out the pictures here!
