another celebrity spotted ...

Look who I met at the airport in Frankfurt when I flew back from Vienna on Monday evening. It is worth hanging out at the Airport during the World Cup as the probability of bumping into raqndom B-celebs is higher. I saw Christoph Daum on my way to Vienna and Sven Väth on my way back (The photo was shot one-handed with my Nikon D50 - that is why my face is distorted (yes - this is not my normal face - very funny :-) as I had to hold it for about half a minute for the flash to charge. You can also find some nice photos of the city and the stadium from the airplane here. Till next time ...
BTW: I know for a fact, that David Copperfield is not gay (a friend of a friend kind of fact ...)

Italy : Usa - 9:10

3 red cards in one game. What a disappointment. A match full of fauls, a bloody nose, frustrated players and spectators and a surprised Celine.

Germany : Poland - 1:0

We met up at the Fressgassenfest to watch the match. Baaaad idea to meet for a German match in the middle of town after the Anpfiff. So we ended up watching the game on the smallest screen possible from the table at the very back. Still the athmosphere was great. After the match we went on a ride on the Riesenrad and met my italian colleagues from Darmstadt.

The guy on the left swindled his way on the photo - once I get Photoshop Elements on my PC, I shall replace his head with mine ...

PG Football World Cup 2006

This is how the ladies of the Geneva football team looked like when they found out that not only did they win the Cup but have also gotten tickets for the Achtelfinale in Cologne. In the background you can see the team of Wella Darmstadt, who won the gents Cup.

I spent most of the day taking these 426 photos... and talking to the Cheerleaders. An amazing event on the verge of the real World Cup! Selber Schuld who have missed it ...

PAAAAAAAARTY

This picture is a mere understatement of how much fun we had at this party.
to celebrate the PG football world cup in Darmstadt, a big party took place in the Centralstation in Darmstadt. A very cool band (according to romours and this website, king kamehameha club band), very fair pricing for the drinks and an amazing crowd made this an unforgettable evening. Here are the pics - curtesy of Jack :-)
BTW - I was too lazy to go to Darmstadt to follow the games - maybe tomorrow ...

BTW2 - according to the website mentioned above, the members of the band have various dancefloor experiences ranging from DJ Bobo, Haddaway, La Bouche, Snap to The Weather Girls, pretty amazing stuff. Check it out!!!
