Our "Vorgezogene" Helloween - party at Claudias cave in Sulzbach was a massive party full of freaks and a crazy middle-finger pointing beauty in a beast-mask. This was a truely party-hopping day starting off on the Zeil, then Maren & Holger's castle in the west left wing finally arriving to the Pumpkinheads before midnight...

Family visit

Our basement in Vienna got so full that my parents decided to "visit" my brother and me and bring us some stuff that is important for us. First time that my parents could actually stay in my flat since I moved to FFM...

an evening in the city

Every last friday of the month there is a japanese night in the Cafe International. This time 2-Euro massages in the windows. As usual, the evening continued in the streets of Sachsenhausen. Unfortunately the pics cannot be posted here due to the number of drunks on them... We had a lots of fun this night.

Es war einmal vor langer langer Zeit...
Die Zeil. Ein Ort, den ich für meine Wiener Freunde nur so beschreiben könnte: Nimm die Mariahilfer Strasse ohne den Autos, dafür den Samstag-Naschmarkt in der Mitte und 500.000 Leute. So und dann spaziere ich eines Abends mit meinem Bruderherz an der Zeil entlang und wir entdecken das hier:

Das ist kein Scherz. Ich kann mich leider nicht an den Namen erinnern, es war Karl-Heinz oder so :-) Mal sehen, was als nächstes kommt. Der Marktschreier vielleicht? (Nein, der war schon im Sommer da ...)

Here is a recipe for extreme flip-flopping in madrid:
1. buy cheap airplane tickets to madrid
2. dont make hostel reservation
3. pack too much stuff
4. fly to madrid
5. walk around with heavy backpack for 2 hours looking for a hostel
6. find one
7. leave backpack in hostel, keep flip-flops
8. walk around for another 6 hours without a map or proper shoes
9. repeat step 8 for 2 more days (the map part is optional, flip-flops a must!!!)
10. fly back home
11. ouch!

Eine Bootsfahrt die ist schön ...

Rüdesheim is a little town full of Ristorantes and tourists. Our tiny group managed to bring down the average visitor age in town by 0.4 from 82.6 to 82.2 for the day. What an exciting village!
It was a very insightful boat trip from 11:30 to 16:00 - not a minute too long ... If anybody is interested in doing this again - give me a call!

A weekend in Vienna

Nat, Preeti, Maike and Eugenio joined me for a weekend in Vienna. As my parents are Down Under, we had Sturmfreie Bude at my parents place. The 7 hour train ride from Frankfurt to Vienna was not that bad after all. Rathausplatz, Spittelberg, Hofburg, City - we even had a Fiaker - ride in Schönbrunn (kein Wiener würde sich freiwillig in einen Fiaker setzen) - but than again, I am Hungarian :-) Also some filthy ladies for Paul ...

Weinfest Wiesbaden - 2005

We met Mama and Papa Corradini together with their lovely daughter Alba at the Weinfest Wiesbaden just before diving into the non-existing nightlife of Wiesbaden city. Maylis, Chris, Thomas, Oli, Jessica and myself met a group of girls celebrating their friend Heike's upcoming marriage by burning bras, dancing with bearded men and some (as I was informed, typical for every french party) half naked french guys. Enjoy!

Grand Prix Eurovision 1975 - Wambolderhof

When Klaus invited me to this strange event I could not imagine how I would enjoy listening to some classic tunes from the year 1975 performed by wine farmers from the area. All hobby - musicians singing and dancing like crazy - and the women went wild as one of them sang Me and Mrs. Jones! Hmmm - I think I have an idea for the next karaoke night ...
