None of the main character animals (lion, zebra, giraffe or hippo) are actually housed at the New York Central Park Zoo.
There are penguins though.
not much happening this week. Reading the new Harry Potter book instead of going to the gym. (looks like I will have to blame my weight on reading now ...)

11:14 was the closing film of the Fantasy Film Fest in 2003 in Stuttgart - and after 2 years it finally hits the theatres in Europe. One of those movies where you don't know how all the little storylines connect until the very end of the movie. Lots of small and big names (Patrick Swayze, Rachel Lee Cook, Hillary Swank, ...) in funny and sometimes disturbing scenes. All in all a nice sneak preview night in the non-air-conditioned Turmpalast.
Also if you want to see what became of little Elliott (from E.T.) look for the guy in the opening scene ...
This Monday we saw The Upside Of Anger at the Sneak Preview. A very cool and slow and emotional and funny and chilly movie about a lot of broken people who live next to and with each other. The ending was a bit strange, but all-in-all a very enjoyable movie. Plus Kevin Costner is simply great in this movie.
Again it is time for some marketing activities. The Sneak Preview in Turmpalast shows a 'surprise' movie every Monday at 21:00 - it is a movie that is not running yet - but you don't know which one ...
On the brighter side it only costs 4 Euros!!! If you want to join in on the fun, let me know...
Blanca returned from her 4-week vacation with a great tan just in time to celebrate with Rahul, who is leaving Frankfurt for London. Goodbye, Rahul - enjoy London!

A record number of people showed up at Alba's to be fed by our Indian friends. Preeti, Paritosh and Rahul provided a feast to everyone's liking.

After all the horror movies in the sneak preview (every monday at TurmPalast *Werbung*) the guy in the cinema told us that it was not a horror movie, but a comedy called FAT ALBERT. I wish they showed a horror movie instead ... No. Really. I swear ...

For the remake of this movie the marketing department created T-Shirts with I watched Paris die written on them. I would like to buy the I left the cinema before Paris died version. But I guess there is no such thing.
